is there any lojbo who is familiar with syntax trees, x bar theory, and phrase structure rules enough to have mapped out any of that for lojban?

Is there some way in which a formal grammar isn't a superset of all
that?

i am not sure. but i do not know how helpful the two grammars in the cll are. i plan on looking at them again. someone familiar with syntax trees would be very helpful though, since we are doing that type of stuff in my class.
