They are good places for beginners to interact with experienced
Lojbanists for quick Q&A purposes without having to create an account.
But they lack some useful forum functions such as creating a FAQ
section & discussion categories & sticky posts, searching the content,
automatic quotation etc. jbotcan has also been unstable, and we lost
some valuable records of discussion when it went down more than once.

I have seen some forumer-like Lojban forums before, one of which is:
http://lojban.7.forumer.com/index.php?sid=94be951c73114ec0c521515182d06f65
I couldn't find the other ones' URLs.

It would be great if we had separate discussion spaces dedicated to
specific areas of vocabulary, such as "Animals", "Music", "Politics",
"Technology". Also something like "Basic English" or "General Service
List":
http://simple.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Extended_Basic_English_alphabetical_wordlist
http://simple.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:General_Service_List
