A quantifier is not grammatical between {la} and a cmevla.
It is grammatical between {la} and a selbri. (Why there should
be a distinction, I don't know. I think CMENE should have the
same grammar as BRIVLA.)

As for interpretation, {la ci cribe} can be either "the three
that I call 'bear'" or "the one I call 'three bears'". I'm not
sure we really need to impose one of them.

I'm not sure what to make of it either. I'm not sure I follow
what you say. Perhaps a couple of examples of how you think
they should be used would be useful.
