I just noticed a little blurb that says Gmail now allows one to edit the
interface language when using it- so that, for example, "inbox" would be in
Spanish, or Greek, or what-have-you. Out of curiousity, I clicked the link.
Unfortunetly, Lojban is not among the listed languages. Anyone who uses
Gmail want to get a petition to add Lojban to the list? This would, of
course, mean that we'd need to /have/ a Lojban translation for them, but we
do have experts, yes?

Count me in. I submitted a request for lojban google a couple of weeks ago.
They do have Esperanto, Klingon, Elmer Fudd and H4x0r already.

I think you sign up and start working in their translation section.
It's all automated. A lot of places have such projects. It looks like
I (just barely) started a Lojban one at http://niretrad.nireblog.com/
last year already.

After trawling through the appropriate FAQ I find that they're not yet
taking google into more languages, and lojban isn't on the list.
