• (1) While the byte format of the gismu list is detailed on this page, it is unclear how the various kinds of parenthetical text (parenthesis(), square brackets [], etc.) in the gismu list are to be interpreted. The page BPFK gismu Section: Parenthetical Remarks in Brivla Definitions elaborates the problem.

• (2) This page describes columns 161-164 as a containing a "frequency count" of a gismu's usage, but it does not state what exactly this numeric value represents. Whether it is the number of times the gismu appeared in a sample corpus, its frequency per 1000 words, or perhaps the gismu's place in a most-frequent-first ranking (1-1436)) is not stated.
