History: Apollonian alphabet
View page
Source of version: 1
(current)
This may be found in: ''The Dictionary of Occult, Hermetic and Alchemical Sigils'' by Fred Gettings (Routledge Kegan Paul, 1981). See [http://nuzban.wiw.org/wiki/images/apollonian-script.html|this image] for a scan contributed by michael helsem. (The way i used it--the second alphabet): i substituted the H symbol for {'}, the chi for J, the omega for O, psi for U, chi for V, the O for {.i}, & the last symbol of the second alphabet, for {.}.) I had a dream last night that Wiki pages were being made with titles being written in the Apollonian Alphabet, encoded in UTF-8, and all the symbols in the alphabet looked like smiley faces in circles. --((Jay Kominek|jay))
