Proposed Definition of cai

cai (CAI)
Attitudinal Modifier. Expresses intense emotion on the part of the speaker. Can be placed after a UI to express its intensity, or by itself to indicate that the speaker feels intensely in some unspecified emotion. Highest part of a nine point scale. See also: sai, ru'e, cu'i, nai, pei, the preface.

cu'i (CAI)
Attitudinal Modifier. Expresses neutral emotion on the part of the speaker. Can be placed after a UI to express neutrality on its scale, or by itself to indicate an emotional neutrality in some unspecified emotion. Middle point of a nine point scale. See also: cai, sai, ru'e, nai, pei, the preface.

Examples of cu'i Usage

pei (CAI)
Attitudinal Question. Asks the listener an emotional question. When used by itself, it asks the user to respond with a UI expressing their feelings. It can also be used in place of a CAI to ask the listener with what intensity they feel a particular emotion. See also: cai, sai, ru'e, cu'i, nai, the preface.

ru'e (CAI)
Attitudinal Modifier. Expresses a weak emotion on the part of the speaker. Can be placed after a UI to express its mildness, or by itself to indicate that the speaker feels weakly in some unspecified emotion. Just above the middle position of a nine-point scale.
