Lojban In General

anyone got gismu categories?

I've used parley and similar flash card programs to learn languages in the
past. I'd like to do the same with lojban, and it would be really helpful if
there was some categorical resource to group gismu. There's categorical info
in the cmavo list available on lojban.org... is there any similar resource
for gismu?

I understand that there's probably unclassifiable exceptions, but it seems
like categories like animals, physical movements and gestures, etc should be
doable and a useful learning resource. In the gismu lists here http://jbotcan.org/compress.php?page=gismulinked.html#skami and here http://www.lojban.org/publications/wordlists/gismu.txt there's references,
but no hierarchical information... as in "gerku" will say "(cf. danlu)" and
"danlu" will say "(cf. gerku)."

Anyhow, I'm asking because I began making a spreadsheet with such categories
for my own study, which I'm glad to share if anyone wants to help/use it,
but I figured I'd ask in case the work had already been done! :-)

http://www.lojban.org/tiki/Word+Lists . Search for the word "thesaurus".

On the lojban.org word-list directory there's two 'thesaurus' links; one
appears to be broken (or blocked in China) and the other is a latex file.
I'm installing a latex viewer now but there's 69 dependencies on a slow
connection, so I don't know yet if it's what I'm looking for.

Here's the spreadsheet I'm working on; please take a look and let me know if
there's already a project similar to this anywhere. Thanks!

Do not "view". If you need a "data", (and not a "nice looking
dictionary"), just delete all the "presentational" details from the
latex file with any decent text editor. I have a "plain" text — just
categories(about 125 at 2-3 levels) and gismu, as a python's
pickle.dump, and in reStructuredText(almost). But categories are
translated to russian.
