OK, I've annotated as much as I'm gonna do for now. If anyone has any
new suggested annotations or corrections please let me know.

I may try to convert this to wiki at some point, but I'd probably have
to lose some of the formatting.

I would write sumti-6 the way you wrote tanru-unit-2, for clarity.
(Although I prefer to see the "/" at the front rather than at the
end):

sumti-6 <- ZO-clause free*
/ ZOI-clause free*
/ LOhU-clause free*
/ lerfu-string !MOI BOI? free*
/ LU text LIhU? free*
/ (LAhE free* / NAhE BO free*) relatives? sumti LUhU? free*
/ KOhA free*
/ LA free* relatives? CMENE+ free*
/ (LA / LE) free* sumti-tail KU? free*
/ LI free* mex LOhO? free*

No idea why "li" should deserve a special rule. (Same for "xi" in free.)

Thanks, I missed that one for some reason.

Oh, and if you have any questions about the grammar remaining after
reading the document (about parts of the grammar covered by the
document, not the parts I intentionally left out) please ask me.
