CLL fix?

reading through the CLL I came across this in chapter 1:

7.7) ma drani danfu
.i di'e
.i di'u
.i dei
.i ri
.i do'i
What sumti is-the-correct type-of-answer?
The-next-sentence.
The-previous-sentence.
This-sentence.
The-previous-sentence.
An-unspecified-utterance.

Has the translation of ".i ri" been fixed. I'm still fairly new to lojban
so if there is some case where ".i ri" actually does refer to the previous
sentence could someone explain the difference between "ri" and "di'u"?

obviously, the ri refers to dei, which means "this sentence", but seen from the
next sentence by the ri, it means "the previous sentence".

Except that "ri" should ignore "dei", which is a KOhA. See Chapter
7, above example 6.3. So, arguably, this example is in fact wrong.
