Lojban In General

Another possibility is to let the final consonant indicate something
useful, such as whether the name refers to a person, place (e.g., city, country),
but that would frequently not work, since many names already end in a
consonant when they are lojbanized.

Oddly, I often take the opposite tack, adding a final consonant that
ISN'T normally used in that cultural group, to clue the reader that
"the original ended in a vowel, but ya know, lojban rules, and all
that...."
